Carry a contingency note in your phone case – just in case. How long can you go before you actually need the note?
Chuck those last coins you have in a charity tin and donate contactless in the future – a couple of coins in a tin or a meaningful couple of quid?

It is not difficult being cashless in the UK – we have real payment choice – what cashless tips do you have?
